How It Works
Age and date differences use calendar arithmetic, not elapsed days divided by 365. Date adjustments preserve the day when possible and use the last valid day for shorter months.

Example
From July 14, 1990 to September 19, 2026 is 36 years, 2 months, and 5 days.
Important Notes
Elapsed-day counts exclude the starting date. The comparison date must not precede the starting date, and a countdown target must be today or later.
