Compound Interest Calculator
Estimate long-term growth from a starting balance and recurring deposits.
About This Calculator
Project how a starting balance and recurring contributions may grow over time. The results separate money contributed from estimated investment growth.
How It Works
The starting balance compounds at the selected frequency. Recurring contributions are treated as end-of-period deposits and grow at the equivalent rate for their contribution interval.
Balance = principal growth + future value of recurring contributions
Example
$10,000 invested at 6% annually with $200 added monthly grows to about $50,969.84 after 10 years with monthly compounding.
Important Notes
Results are estimates, not guaranteed returns or individualized financial advice. A constant rate is assumed; fees, taxes, inflation, and market volatility are not included.
